The Music Cue Sheet Manager represents the next stage in the management of cue sheets for film and series production. It offers a range of options for importing and managing cue data and creating complex music cue sheets easily. The tool is compatible with sequences from Media Composer, Premiere Pro, Resolve, and Final Cut Pro. It merges multiple tracks and removes invisible cuts to produce a clean list. Based on file names, metadata for the music tracks can also be automatically added to the cue sheet if they come from one of our partner libraries. The export can be customized using presets and exported to a variety of formats, including CSV, Excel and more.

Import cues from an NLE sequence

The tools make it easy to import a sequence from any major editing software. It can handle EDL, XML, and FCPXML files, making it easy to transfer timecode-relevant cue data from Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, Apple Final Cut X, and DaVinci Resolve. An experimental option for AAF files is also available to import track names.

Extract EXIF metadata from audio files

The tool is also capable of reading EXIF metadata stored within audio files. A variety of formats can be uploaded and scanned, including MP3, WAV, AIF, AIFF, M4A, OGG, FLAC, WMA, AAC, APE, and OPUS files. This enables to easier search for metadata that might originate from a third party or an music library that is not connected to our tool yet.

Import Google Spreadsheets & CSV files

Already started a cue sheet? No problem, it can easily be loaded into the Cue Sheet Manager and merged with other sources if it follows our column rules.

Scan libraries for metadata

By partnering with over 20 production music libraries, the tool is able to automatically pull metadata for tracks from these libraries. The metadata contains not only the track name and artist but also details about the label, publisher, composer details, and shares. Please note that the available metadata depends on the library.

Optimize & edit entries

Entries can be edited, sorted and optimized, with the option of merging and manipulating metadata. Please note that entries can be automatically merged and durations summed.

Export CISAC & APRA cue sheets

We have implemented the cue sheet standards from CISAC & APRA, which streamline the process of creating a cue sheet in this standard, ensuring all necessary fields are included.

Public Presets & Custom Presets

We offer a set of cue sheet presets for different channels, as well as an option to create presets with custom columns.

The tool offers the ability to share a live preview link of the music cue sheet, ensuring that the most up-to-date version is always available for reviewing and download.
